VIDEO
TRAINING

IN IRELAND

Learn to plan, film, and edit professional videos with workshops delivered to teams - wherever you are - across the island of Ireland.

This workshop with the Glen Community Garden showed exactly why I believe in making video training hands-on.

Instead of slides in a conference room, we gathered in the garden itself surrounded by fresh basil, buzzing pollinators, and the energy of a community working together.

Over three hours, the group brainstormed, filmed, and presented to camera, turning the session into both a practical training and a genuine team-building experience.

Each participant left with the confidence to create their own videos, and the garden now has stories captured on film that can be shared through QR codes with every visitor.

Video Transcript: This week's workshop took me out of the conference room and into a community garden, because this workshop was all about being hands on. I stripped the slides back, but still kept a few for the more technical bits. When I arrived, they even had lunch ready with fresh tomatoes and basil straight from the garden. Over three hours, the group were just brilliant, enthusiastic, fun and completely engaged. We brainstormed, filmed, and each person presented a camera, and it actually turned into a real team building Day, which I loved being part of. If you'd like a tailored, practical workshop designed just for your organisation, get in touch. I'd love to help you tell your story too.

This crash course with the Glanmire Chamber showed just how powerful it can be when local businesses come together to learn new skills.

Instead of focusing on perfection, we gathered in a relaxed setting where phones became our main filming tools and conversation set the tone.

Over the evening, the group planned short videos, filmed with confidence, and even stepped in front of the camera.

Each participant left with practical tips they could use straight away and the confidence to share their message clearly, simply, and authentically.

Video Transcript: What actually happens at a video workshop? Come behind the scenes with the wonderful folks from Glanmire Chamber — a great mix of local business owners who gave it a go. We looked at how to plan short videos that connect with your audience and how to get the most from your phone without overthinking it. We explored presenting on camera, even if it’s something you’ve always avoided, and how to keep your message clear, simple, and memorable. These sessions are hands-on, encouraging, and always full of good energy. If you’re thinking about video but don’t know where to start, this kind of workshop could be just the nudge you need.

This workshop with Healy Communications, supported by Cork Chamber Skillnet, was the perfect blend of planning and creativity.

Instead of keeping things theoretical, we started with storyboards and strategies, then explored the equipment that can make filming easier and more effective.

Over the morning, the group planned and filmed short videos, experimented with editing tools like auto cuts, montages, and voiceovers, and shared their ideas with each other.

Each participant left with new skills, fresh confidence, and practical ways to create polished content that works for PR.
